With one of the biggest waits between Manchester tournaments the Paxman had a small event Friday and gave a few of us the chance for a quick warm up before this Saturday.
With a full table for tournament number one, we got under way about 8ish. After a few levels and way too many beers yours truly pulled what is know as a Josh in poker circles. I misread my hand, called an all in with garbage and sucked out on the Paxman. Sorry Buddie. I think it was that last Stella that got to me. The first 7 Coors lights had nothing to do with it.
Javier and I ended up chopping first and second so we could get another tournament in before the night was over. A cash is a cash I guess.
Round 2 only had 6 players after a few hit the rail early in the first tournament. It came down to Jim and the Paxman. After a few rounds of back and forth they decided to chop as well.
A good night all around with plenty of food, Beer and cards. With a quick turn to this weekends Game it was a perfect warm up.
Ill see most of you this weekend in Manchester! No beer s for me this time, Meatballs, Chips and soda and I am favorite to run away with it.

If UpTheOdds.com is going to maintain its reputation for fair and impartial poker reporting (OK, I guess that will never happen)... If UpTheOdds wants to have ANY Credibility at all, it would report that the only reason why Pax and DN split the pot is because Pax took Josh out with a K-9 over a K-10 when a 9 hit the turn, causing Josh to CASH at $80.00 plus two bounties for $100 all in! DN you will need to work on your reporting skills.

Now Josh has drawn out on more people than anyone I known so I will have to delay my response untill the next posting. I have offered other opinions to be posted on the blog and have invited other people to write articles and observations that would be posted here. I have gotten zero entrys so far, None. No we all know Josh ranks in the top 25 players at Aarons house so he should be able to contribute something other than "Javier Sucked out on me" Please Let me know if you have something relevent to contribute.
