Viva Peru!

With the voting behind us, our good friend Javier has run away with the top spot voted by the players in the league. 15 votes, Over 60% of the voters selected Jav for this prestigious award.

Aaron came in 2nd and I third.

The Steve's came in tied for 4th. The rest are irrelevant. The group has spoken. As of August 2009 Javier is considered the man to beat. As a past student of mine I am proud of his achievement.

Now lets discuss this weeks gathering. Friday is close. There are a few players that must attend, No excuses. Everyone on the top 9 has to be there to protect their spot. The next 10-15 players on the board have to come and shoot for the win. With only 4 Tournaments left the points will be harder to find every month that goes by.

Lets look at a few examples.

John L is sitting with 13 points in 18th place. a win gives him a total of 29 points. Enough to possibly bump him into the top 9

Rafael needs even less. 17 points in 14th place. a win puts him at 33 points. a second place finish gets him very close to pay-dirt.

Frank can sneeze his way in. Only needs a single point to make the move.

Josh may need the coming of Jesus to make it. And sence it was his people that nailed him to the cross I wouldn't hold your breath. 8 points is a long way away but is doable. If he can take what I have taught him and make a couple moves over the next 4 games he may prove us all wrong......I cant even write that with a straight face.

John P. Pete and Miller all are within striking range as well.

Chris T lives in New Jersey. One Showing and he has more points then 23 other players..........This is unacceptable. I am expecting better play from all of you this month.

Matt has all but guaranteed his spot on the final 9 come December. Can he return to his days of glory or is he the Big Papi of Poker? Only time will tell.

Now to give a sence of Calm Ill ask this.....Who is Davin Moon?

Anyone?

How about Eric Buchman?

These guys are the current #1 and #2 in the WSOP Main event. 2 guys that no one knows and Davin Moon is playing in his first WSOP ever. Won a satellite to get in.

So lets go people. I have a feeling our own little December 9 is not set in stone yet. I think we will see some more movement this month.

Will you be there to stake claim to your seat?
Play in December?

Ill be there to try and protect my spot.

See you Friday.
