This Friday one of the leagues nicest players makes her return! Calamity Jane is on the "I'm Attending" list
One of the only Wlochowski's that has been known to show flashes of Poker brilliance has been MIA for several Months. With warm weather approching she is sure to have a spotty attendance record over the summer months so welcome her back this Friday by showing up with beer. Steve is supposed to attend as well but Ill believe it when I see it. Limit Holdem? Maybe, Casino War? Probably, No Limit Texas Holdem? Longshot at best.
Without our rank amateur/donkey Josh being able to attend we should have a rather peaceful evening with regular sightings like, Aaron, Javier and of course Meatballs. Ahh the Meatballs. A staple of any Poker tournament. I'm almost convinced Peter Eastgate celebrated the WSOP main event victory last year with some good old fashion Sams Club Frozen Meatballs.
Back to important details. This Weekend, Scott T will try to hold onto the top point spot by grinding his way through another evening while Kyle will look to unseat the current points leader. Two of the top 10 in points not currently on the attending list (Frank & Bryan) leave an open door for players just outside the prized top 9 placement. Chris W, Pete and Mike are just a few that have a chance to sneak up the leader board and make a run for the year end tournament seat.
I do see that Matt will make an embarrassing return after his April blowoff. This may be a good time to restock Aarons college fridge with at least a case of Guinness cans. A no show is the ultimate slap in the face but I,m sure he will redeem himself with some great beer and maybe even a sidedish to the meatballs. As for his poker, 3 points YTD? Josh sucks at poker and has 5 so lets get with the program. I do offer a Poker seminar if you think your ready to move to the next level and double digit points.
As for the rest of you degenerate poker players remember this. No one is safe from the rantings of this poker observer. You will all be noted sooner or later.
