Matt Get no respect. Voted least likely to Make December Table

August is here. Friday is in sight and many of you are gearing up for what might be your last chance. Some players are sitting comfortably on top of the leader board waiting for December while the majority of you wallow on the rail hoping for something to materialize over the next few months.

Over the past 3-4 years the league has moved past the Friendly monthly game and has progressed into something more. Much more sits on the line in cash, prestige and respect from our fellow players. Some might not admit that this league has become harder and harder due to the incredible increase in quality play but we all know it in our hearts.

Years ago Josh was one of the best players in the league, Even winning a December tournament! Now he is an after thought in most players minds. Rafael didn't play much poker 3 years ago and is the reigning 2009 Champion.

Eason and Willis are cash game players that play more poker than almost anyone in the league. Still Matt has done nothing in years and Willis..... Well he is Willis.

Aaron (Assistant Coach) hosts the games every month and still struggles.

Javier was voted Best Hair, Chris W voted worst, They live on the same street and play similar games. Javier sits in 3rd place while Chris may be running out of time in 21st.

Now I sit in 7th place and have not played in a tourney since May. 3 months in a row I have had other appearances to attend to and still I sit in 7th.

There are many of you that are running short on time and need a deep run to make the big show in December. Some of you have no chance even though you are not mathematically eliminated your poker skill level is all but certain to keep you from the points you desperately need.

I will offer lessons for the last time at a discounted rate. I feel, as he Head Coach it is my obligation to the group to share the knowledge I have collected throughout my poker career.

In closing I would like to extend and offer to the group. The WSOP circuit event in Atlantic City is in December and a few of us are planning on going down to play in some of the lower cost events. If you are interested please let me know.
