Donkey's Unite!!!!

October game is only hours away. As we look back at September we question how guys like Merrow made the final table while the odds on favorite to win it all got bumped first.

In this edition of uptheodds.com in debth coverage we will try to look ahead to Octobers game while recapping what was an obvious aberration in September.

Now while we are all confused with Mr. Whites win last month and equally befuddled by Steve Hollander beating anyone we must first realize that Poker sometimes is an unfair game. 

As we can see from Mikes picture above that almost anyone can win a poker tournament, even showing the minimal amount of poker understanding. I think its best if our September game is left in the past and we focus on the task at hand.

With 9 games left the leader board is sure to change and some months quite drastically. Every month someone will get only one point while others will win or run deep enough to jolt themselves up the leader board into striking distance or that coveted WSOP seat. 

At 7:00 pm tonight we will all take our seats in hopes of making that run for the money and those elusive big points. Shit talking may take place. Beers may be pilfered. Aces may get cracked. In the end it is only month number 2 of 10.  9 games left and while this may seem like many they tend to go fast. Points are important. Your "A" game is needed to ensure we do not send the same hack that went last year and embarrassed the group.
