Here we go folks....The lucky 9 and yours truly sit down tonight to battle for the Trophy, Cash and prestige of the Slow Play Saloon 2013 Championship.

as we look forward to tonight match I thought it might be nice, in this time of giving during the holiday season to look back on the Slow Play Saloons 2013 season.

I vaguely remember a time when we had an unexplained female playing with us that was not named Corrine. Looking back I see a player named Jessica with a whopping one point. She of course did not return due to some of our beloved attorneys relentlessly cross examining her from across the table with their eyes. Thank goodness this succubus of a lawyer did not make the final 10.

Remember when it seemed like Rafael won every December tournament? Yeah. Me neither.

We all Know Corrine and Frank will not be playing tonight but were planning on coming to watch their favorite player who finished in 4th place in the points this year.

There were countless other players that either had a terrible year or did not make the effort to come to enough games to give themselves a real chance to make December

I can only offer my lesson plan so much and I am getting overwhelmed with positive results from past students. 2013 had 6 of the top 10 December players with tutelage from yours truly.

2014 is 12 days away. Ample time for people to free up every 3rd Friday of the month starting in January. 

In 12 months will you be sitting home wishing you took note to the Head coach or will you end up on one of the less flattering lists noted above?

Congratulations to the 10 players siting down at Aarons house tonight. You have earned a seat to the 2013 Slow Play Saloon main Event.

 I have picked a number out of a hat to see what year end position from 11 through 38 to see what player will be the butt of our jokes tonight and the number is 16. Easy one. Please come prepared.
