Larry on fire! Smokes everyone in his path on way to big win and huge jump up leader board. Might have broken a bounty record on way.

Rafeal with a 2nd place finish keeps a few overall points ahead of Larry on big board with some of his best play of the year. He owned his earlier table with Javier who finished right behind him in 3rd but leads the league in total mini kegs consumed.

Our host goes deep??....Lets try that another way.....Aaron goes deep and finishes 4th...???..Still sounds weird and I cant clip and paste that from any blogs posted for over a year. Puts a few points between him and 11th place. He has no plans to host a tourney that hes not invited to in 2010.

Corrine takes 5th. Short stacked most of the night she fought back and puts herself a win away form the leader board.

Nowiks September hopes dashed. Nowiks 10th place finish keeps him off leader board. Corrine sent me to the rail keeping me 3 points off the board. I'm sure the group thanks you but Ill be back come October to reclaim my rightful spot on leader board.

Trentholm, Frank, Miller and Steve C. sit quietly a deep run away from Decembers invite list.

Bob Sr. made an appearance from an extended poker vacation only to see Steve's Full house crush his Ace high flush.

Notable no shows included Steve D, Chris W, Josh, Matt E, Klye and Dave R.

Worst effort has to be giving to yours truly for a pathetic display of poker. As your beloved head coach I expect much more from myself. Short stacked early I was handcuffed all night and played just plain bad.

Best play of month is a tough one. I watched Javier run rough shot over my table but I heard Larry was unconscious. With the win I'd have to leave it to Larry but Javiers early play was some of the best I've ever witnessed. Great work from two of my top students.

October will bring Halloween, Leaves to rake and one more chance to make the big board. 10/15/2010......1 of 2 left folks
